Actions To Take Before January
Here are several steps you can take now to make the most of the time we have until the Trump Administration begins.
Ask President Biden to do any or all of the following:
Finalize the Equal Rights Amendment, push the Senate to confirm nominated judges, cancel federal student debt, commute federal death penalty sentences, and pardon non-violent drug offenders.

Follow up on HR9495.
HR9495 would let the IRS designate nonprofits as terrorist organizations. Potentially very harmful to grassroots organizations like Indivisible, the bill passed the House but is likely to die in the Senate.

- Urge Senators. Elizabeth Warren (202-224-4543) and Ed Markey (202-224-2742) to keep the language out of another bill in the Senate.
Urge our senators to confirm all nominees for federal judicial positions.
