New Writing Project – and Huddle! – MI
Tell Michiganders why voting is important to you!
Our next writing project lets you share your thoughts with voters in Michigan — a strategy shown to increase participation in the November election. Starting with a letter template from Vote Forward, you add a sentence or two about why you think it’s important to vote. The letters target likely Democrats who either vote sporadically or who are young and newly registered.
Pick up packets to complete at home or write alongside your fellow volunteers at our Huddle on Sunday, May 5 from 3-5 PM at the Harvey Wheeler Center.

Easy Phonebank: Recruit Democratic Volunteers to Help Turn NC Blue – NC
Invite folks to a gathering at a local eatery
All in for NC (AINC) and Swing Blue Alliance are working to recruit volunteers to help turn North Carolina Blue. The calls are easy and fun! Call Democrats and unaffiliated (independent) voters, using a dialer that doesn’t show your phone number. There is training at the beginning of every phone bank and support for volunteers the whole time you are making calls. These are warm and welcome conversations, inviting folks to a gathering at a local eatery. Voicemail messages are fine.

Consider a road trip to Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania! You’ll enjoy the company of fellow activists as you engage in “deep canvassing” for progressive candidate Susan Wild in this key district. Training will be provided beforehand. Upcoming trips on May 11, May 25 and June 8.

Sign up Democrats for Active Early Voting
Reach out to voters and help them sign up for the Active Early Voting List so they’re prepared for the July 30th primary and November 5th general elections!
This November, the Arizona Senate race will surely be a close one. We need to put in the work early to ensure Democrats are ready to turn out in support of Ruben Gallego this year!
