You showed up Patriots’ Day weekend!

Concord celebrated the 250th anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord on Saturday, April 19. A huge crowd showed up to enjoy the parade, memorial ceremony, block parties, and more. In addition, many people peacefully protested the administration’s assaults on our democracy, freedoms, and vital institutions. Concord Indivisible handed out buttons and signs — it was great seeing or meeting so many of you! [Didn’t get a lawn sign? Sign up for one!]

Monday’s “Stop Tyranny Now” rally drew a huge crowd for inspiring speakers and music!

This was the biggest rally we’ve ever seen in Concord — and maybe the most fun! About 600 people gathered at First Parish in Concord to hear Leah Greenberg, co-founder and co-executive director of Indivisible; Rufus Gifford, former ambassador to Denmark; Nikki Turpin, president of Robbins House; and Deb Paul, Chairperson, Indivisible Mass Coalition. Diane Proctor of Concord Indivisible did us proud as emcee.

Music by BABAM and Bvocal lifted our spirits and made the rally feel like a party. And folks really got creative with their signs!

Join us next time, and bring your friends!
