Reach key voters!

One way to counter the GOP’s relentless attempts to suppress Democratic turnout in November is to contact infrequent, likely Democratic, swing state voters and give them concrete information on each step in the process of registering and casting a ballot in their state. One of our partners, VoteRiders, needs our help doing this. 

WRITE a brief note to likely Democratic voters in swing states that have complicated voter ID laws. You’ll print out a form that has essential information about the ID needed to vote in the state, write one sentence at the top, address and mail to the names provided. Try it, it’s easy! SIGN UP

Support our immigrant neighbors. 

We need to make sure that grassroots groups can provide direct financial, legal and other support to immigrants in need. You can help right now. 

DONATE to the LUCE Immigrant Justice Network of Massachusetts, an excellent organization on the front lines of helping immigrants who are being targeted for detention and deportation. Your donation will help them provide training for community observers, direct aid to families, and legal assistance to individuals targeted by ICE. DONATE

Stop Trump’s imperial takeover. 

The administration’s illegal, unconstitutional approach to “governing” has caused enormous harm to the environment, our health and economic well being, our access to the truth, and our sense of security. And now Trump has led us into a dangerous, illegal war with vague goals in the Middle East.

We need to tell our elected representatives to use every tool at their disposal to fight each of Trump’s illegal actions.

Spread the word. 

Share one of the actions you are doing with a friend, relative, or colleague. Remind them that the antidote to despair is action. Bonus points if they live in a red or purple state!

Too many people are still sitting on the sidelines. Yes, life is busy and complicated — but this is an emergency! We have to grow the movement in order to check the Trump administration’s cruelty, corruption, and authoritarianism.
