Action Springboard

Sponsor a Common Cause Voter Protection Volunteer

Common Cause trains Election Protection volunteers to serve from early voting through Election Day as non-partisan helpers at voting places in key states.  They help voters navigate the system and ensure that every ballot is cast and counted. It costs about $50 to train and deploy one volunteer from early voting through Election Day.

Road trip to PA! Join this “Deep Listening” Canvass March 21-22.

Join other folks from Massachusetts who will be going to Allentown, PA, on March 21-22 as part of Swing Left Ground Truth’s innovative “Deep Listening’ project–an early step toward winning the flippable PA-07 House seat.

All you need to do is listen to voters’ concerns, make notes, and share your findings with Swing Left, which will use them to frame effective persuasion messages later in the spring.  More than 90 percent of volunteers who piloted this project said they would do it again! Training will be provided.

Email our state organizer, Bob Scheier, who is leading a group from Massachusetts. with questions and/or for help with rides and logistics. ([email protected]).

Give a Few Hours to Our Neighbors in Need.

CASA is an excellent community organization located in Framingham that serves immigrants in the Metrowest area. As interactions with—and fear of—ICE have increased, our immigrant neighbors are facing huge hurdles meeting their basic needs and managing their daily lives.
You can help by offering to deliver groceries, drive kids to school, accompany people to appointments, publicize stories of what’s happening, help with tasks at the CASA office, and much more. Being able to speak Spanish or Portuguese is helpful but not at all essential.
For more information and to volunteer, contact CASA.

Support Our Immigrant Neighbors.

The LUCE Immigrant Justice Network of Massachusetts is on the front lines of helping families and individuals who are being targeted for detention and deportation. They provide training for community observers, direct aid to families, and legal assistance to individuals targeted by ICE.

Your donation can make a huge difference for these vulnerable members of our community.
